Great America has been great for our family with littles as you can also go to Gilroy gardens with the season pass. The water park at Gilroy gardens is more suitable for toddlers, but Great America also has a lot to offer. We went to tricks and treats and wish they had the map available online as we walked around the whole park to find where the trick or treating doors were located. Hope this map helps you. You're welcome!

Love theme parks in general. Great America has some good ones. The halloween decorations are really cute for kids and they pass out candy. The workers are really nice and the fun environment/music tops it off. The only thing is that some of the rides are pretty 'aggressive' and not too kid friendly. It gets crowded towards the evening time, but nothing too crazy. Very fun in general!

Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2022 The Pandemic Chronicles Great America's Tricks and Treats is amazing for families. Gone are the super scary days of Halloween Haunt. The entire park looks reminiscent of a wannabe Disneyland. I know some are crying over the loss of Halloween Haunt but this is probably more of a moneymaker for Great America and by the size of the crowds they are doing well this season. Trick or Treating Halloween Themed Shows Halloween Themed Sweets Halloween Activities There are four areas of the park Patch Place Ickyville Sweet Tooth Acres Everfall Most of the popular roller coaster rides are operating during this special event. The lines for the trick or treating are long but lots of kids and their families are having fun. You see many families with their young children up to teens enjoying the park. I love the addition of the bonfires with seats around- such a great addition to the park on the chilly evenings. We have Gold Season Passes and have enjoyed Great America's Tricks and Treats. The park has been quite packed both during the day and night. I look forward to seeing how amazing Winterfest will be this year since the Great America's Tricks and Treats has been so fantastic. Noelle's Notes Great event for families. Amazing options for foods- sweet and savory. Love, love, love the Bonfire seating- so EPIC!!!

What a fun way to spend a Halloween weekend. There truly was something for all ages with the decor, live shows, assortment of rides and frightful options were optional and plentiful. Absolutely overjoyed the next day reflecting back. For my first time I was quite happy. I was especially surprised they were able to scare me, a relatively stoic fellow, more than once That said, bring your patience. The line cutting is out of control here. The queue for the parking lot in both directions can be a challenge. Consider light rail. The fast track lanes (for a premium price) can make the experience of the commoner absolutely miserable. I don't really think they thought that program through ... for a few $'s more for everyone they could have a more even, shared experience for all. Instead it blatantly highlights the privileged vs. not.
